 I encountered this bug with handbrake and they told me to submit it here.

 The handbrake error was "VOB files will not encode, "No valid source or
 titles found."" although that is not relevant here, but I am providing it
 for reference.

 I converted 32 VHS tapes to DVDs and was able to encode 30 but 2 of them
 have this error. I believe the issue may be corrupted subtitles.
