 Libraries are also executables. The difference is that library has many
 functions (API) that can be called and may not have main() function.

 because it is x265 that is pasting metadata. If you want this, x265 devs
 should do the backend of (encoder) pasting metadata and send patches to
 ffmpeg decoder.
