And of course, if you display is G-sync, without interpolation it will
switch to native frame rate of 25.000 progressive. Ffplay also supports
G-sync, but I am not so sure how good does it work. See this discussion

Indeed applying suggestion from:

does solve the symptoms, at least on my side. I'll close the issue as
wontfix.
