[FFmpeg-user] aac update question

Hi,

I've been using the experimental aac encoder and it gives pretty good results most of the time, but there are still times where it produces a "tinny" sound or creates background noise.  So my question would be what is the latest regarding development of the aac encoder?  Is it still ongoing and should I expect that with each FFmpeg release it's getting better?  Just curious where it stands thanks!
