[FFmpeg-user] Problems at converting and splitting a MPEG file

The original MPEG file is taken from a VHS that contains several 
different scenes recorded at different times. I simply like to have 
several different output files, one for scene, in order to organize them 
better on the hard disk. And for watching only the scene I'd like to 
watch in a certain moment.

I had a look at the documentation for the segment muxer, but I can't 
understand how to use it.
