you can get it from this command line  " sudo apt-get  install  libfaac-dev  "if not work you can try with  compiling source ## GET FAACcd $BUILDwget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/faac/faac-1.28.tar.bz2tar -xjf faac-1.28.tar.bz2
cd faac-1.28 ./configure --prefix="$PREFIX" --enable-sharedsudo make && sudo make install && sudo make clean && sudo make distclean
