Hi Carl, I used Photoshop to produce the jpegs, which was quite a close representation of the two movs. I just tried the same method as you and used ffmpeg to produce the jpegs, and ffmpeg is changing the colours, it's not a good representation of the movs doing it this way. If you can open the two mov files up and put them side by side, you can noticeably see a difference between the greens, and other colours. Not sure why creating jpegs using ffmpeg is 'correcting' the colours from the movs though. I am ultimately putting my movs on a timeline in FCP and using the video scopes to check the levels, and can see they are way off. Is there anything I can do to help?
