An explanation why I see different results:
I am testing on a vanilla 10.10.3 system and out1.mov, 
out2.mov and out3.mov all look different than HD_BARS.mov 
when played with QT Player.

The difference I see is exactly the same as the one you 
showed in this mail:

Is it possible that the installation of FCP makes a difference?
