[FFmpeg-user] Unable to set ffmpeg frei0r facedetect filter parameter

Hi all you friendly people!


I am trying to set the classifier cascade used for the facedetect frei0r 
filter in ffmpeg:

|ffmpeg -i people.mp4 -strict -2 -vf '[in] 
frei0r=facedetect:/usr/share/opencv/haarcascades/haarcascade_frontalface_alt2.xml 
[out]' blurred.mp4|

I made sure that the .xml file is actually at that path.
But i get the weirdest error messages:

|ERROR: Could not load classifier cascade H�I�>H��D|
