Next tests:
Could you provide the output of
$ grep HAVE_EBX_AVAILABLE config.h
$ grep HAVE_EBP_AVAILABLE config.h
(I assume it is identical for clang and gcc, is it?)

And please test versions 324b8adc and 08d2cee4 to make sure this is not a 
regression.
