[Libav-user] Slightly OT: playing DVDs

I've gotten to the point in my player in that I want to add support to 
play DVDs.
However, I don't know where to begin.  ffplay plays /dev/sr0 (scene 
menu) and VOBs, but more is needed.
I was hoping I could borrow a couple of calls from dvdread and be on my way.
However, dvdread seems to return blocks of information (which I don't 
know how to interpret).
I was wondering if someone who has done this could provide some general 
help.
