Your MUA is breaking threads (see the archive on Gmane for example). This is
probably linked. You should fix this

They are the same solution, with only a slight difference in implementation,
in the way you write the filter graph. The global result is the same: you
feed frames on all inputs and you get a single mixed frame on the output.

There are examples for filtering audio, although I believe there are no
