<p>Is this something on the Ffmpeg team's roadmap to support it? The Mali-V550 supports HEVC HW encoding, and is adopted by Chipsets such as Amlogic S912. see the link. </p>

My understanding is ARM exposes the HW encoder via the OMX interface, is Ffmpeg going to support it?
