It was probably me. I can help on it or create some basic test
application, but i won't be able to make something i trust to be online.
The idea was to use something like mplayer -identify to get the
essential information from the file (container, codec, eventually
extended codec info) and parse them into a database. Then write a web
frontend to perform some simple queries.
