I don't mean a vfw input, which means VFW decodes.

I was more thinking of a vfw output, so that ffmpeg can use VFW DLLs for 
encoding the frames. MPlayer has that too. It just happens that I'd 
prefer using ffmpeg instead of mencoder in the case i have to encode
using a VFW codec.
