[FFmpeg-devel] Has anyone ever looked into mobotix's MxPEG ?

I'm curious if anyone has considered adding MxPEG support to ffmpeg?

This is a format developed by Mobotix and used in their Linux based
security cameras and it has several advantages over MJPEG.

There is already BSD licensed source code and extensive documentation
available:
