There are actually two drivers.
IEGD 9.1.1 is now publicly available and was updated to support newer
Linux distributions, with Xserver <= 1.4. However, its VA API driver still
has bugs (that are fixed for the next version).

"GMA500" (psb) is only available, for now, through ISV/OEMs. On a personal
note, I would say to prefer that driver over IEGD. I think Canonical has
now managed to fix their images for Dell (Mini 12), so this probably could
be found there.
In other words, if your HW provider cares about the SW stack on it, he
would/should already be shipping with decent drivers. Note, there is no
fully Open Source drivers (3D, video acceleration parts) and I pretty
doubt there would in the future since Poulsbo has Imagination Technologies
IP in there. I can be proven wrong though, I that would be a good thing.
