Platforms where XvMC was useful did not even have SSE. So, that API  
does not mandate blocks to be 16-byte aligned...

Let's the XvMC decide as currently, the XvMC code can no longer be  
used anywhere but platorms without SSE. So, we could also consider  
this code as dead, thus not maintained?
