Especially in countries with civil laws that have inalienable moral
author rights (where FFmpeg and its forks were always developed)

Refusal to answer does not allow in any way relicensing.

Rewriting based on the same ideas also does not change the copyright.
It is a derivative work under the Berne convention.
I know it's not cool, but that's the international IP laws.
