Why this hostility ?

Debating licenses is really off topic, I had only mentioned BSD as it was implied
by the question about writing this filter in opencv.

But if you want my oppinion, i like the (L)GPL*, i also like most other free
software licenses including BSD but with a limited budget of time and there
being more licenses and projects under the sky than i ever could contribute to.
One picks what one likes most :)
I can spend X time working on BSD or X time working on (L)GPL licensed code.
If all else is equal i pick (L)GPL here. If not all else is equal then i might
pick BSD, it sure could be ...
