Double space.

And this gets inited for each frame: it could be a local variable too.

Or even better: get rid of the GetByteContext entirely: the way you use
it, it brings no benefit at all.

Brace on separate line.

No space after pointer mark. Same a few other times.

Const qualifier is usually first.

> +    int ret = -1;

Better avoid mixing values and error codes.

And better use proper error code from the start, even if for now they
are not propagated.

Urgh, no! That is horrible. Just init ret do 0.

> +
> +        temp = 10L * ret + (digit - '0');

As pointed, 10L is not uint64_t, it is long. Never use long directly in
new code. Just explicitly cast to uint64_t.

But you could dispense with temp with something like:

    if (ret > (INT_MAX - 10) / 10)
	return AVERROR_INVALIDDATA;

Looks unnecessary.

Just test that you have enough data available from the beginning.

I am quite sure you are mistaken about the difference between get_byteu
and get_byte.

This makes no sense if line is reinited at the beginning of the loop.

This is almost exactly the same function: factor the code.

Already covered by ff_set_dimensions().

Better set that after write_frame() has succeeded.

You are ignoring the return value.
