Thanks, it looks good to me now. I will apply it in a few days.

Regarding using the newer or the legacy VANC API of decklink: I am not 
sure which should be used in the long run, it is nice that the decklink 
API hides the parsing/v210 conversion, or add support of the VANC lines of 
some less common formats, but it is also possible that it turns out to be 
too high level for some use cases.

For now I am OK with using both, conversion should not be too difficult if 
we see a clear advantage using only one later on.
