 I can ping the mailing list, but who should I write to, Balling? I mean,
 the generic address or do you have someone in particular I can bother
 directly that might be able to take a look at these two pull requests and
 merge them?
 Currently we compiled our own FFMpeg with the two patches and we're using
 it in production 'cause we needed it, but of course this is no how we roll
 and we'd like to have it merged rather than staying on our fork.
