 This is still a problem.

 This ticket was closed due to confusion about pkgconfigdir controlling the
 _destination_ path for ffmpeg's own pkgconfig file, but that doesn't
 change the fact that ffmpeg's configure is still ignoring PKG_CONFIG_PATH.

 There is currently no way to tell ffmpeg to find libraries which live in a
 non-standard PKG_CONFIG_PATH.  That's a bug.
