 Images are merged by scaling colours of each together, but if they ever
 realise colours can tint too, such as looking through glass art, the
 picture file standards will change. They never use tinting, but when that
 ever happens, the balance of colours of the two constituent images will
 not be equal which means some colours will need to be overlaid through
 panning. Obviously lensing is another feature they could add, which may
 contain info of the eclipsed scene, but I will not ask on that.
