 Meanwhile I think, the option should only preserve the `mtime`, to make it
 simple. So then it could be named:
 `--preserve-mtime` or `--keep-mtime` or additionally `-p` or `-k`, if yet
 available.

 A future enhancement for all file meta data could be:
 `--preserve-meta` or `--keep-meta` or additionally `-P` or `-K`, if yet
 available.
