 ͏    So what went wrong exactly..?
 ͏    Subtitle stream outright went missing with codec "webvtt" specified?

 ͏    Note "-shortest" means to terminate encoding upon the end of the
 shortest input stream.
 ͏    "copy" codec means to outright copy without re-encoding: which might
 workaround the restriction.
