 Hang on...

 I created Ticket_11055.m2ts, 4 seconds, by cutting 00305+00306.m2ts, 2+
 hours. My interest of course was the splice in the middle of
 Ticket_11055.m2ts.

 I used '-ss' '-to' for the cutting.

 I now see that using '-ss' was a bad move by me. I will now do a clean cut
 and, if there are problems with that 4 second video, I'll submit a new
 trac ticket that's specific to that case.

 In the mean time, this ticket has great value. I believe it shows that
 '-ss' does not produce a good frame sequence. I believe it shows that
 showinfo and show_frames are changing TSes when they should not change
 TSes.

 But ticket 11055 is not relevant to my project. If you want me to do
 something to further ticket 11055, I will. Otherwise, I'm ending my
 participation.
