 yes, related, but:
 to ignore the 'smpl' chunk
  is like ignoring any chunk:
  it's 'throwing away' information:
  are all other chunks (like metadata)
  ignored as well?
 I understand that
  playing 'smpl' spec is a very specific request,
  but making sure output = input with conversion
  is a must I feel..
