 Hi,

 I noticed that trying to file the issue for the tag query to the Trac
 project and block it, while checking out the spam monitor. Thanks and
 sorry.

 The issue is an issue of [https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/TagsPlugin
 TagsPlugin], not Trac core.

 I think that the plugin just should ignore such an invalid tag query or
 render an error message like the behavior for `query:foo&bar` in Trac
 core.
