To whom it may concern, I was able to fix my issue thanks to:

For some reason I had libva-git installed which was older than libva.
looking for conflicting packages...
:: libva-2.22.0-1 and libva-git-2.18.0.r9.g3aadcf0e-1 are in conflict.
Remove libva-git? [y/N] y
