 ͏    I assume you confirm that with "-map v" the problem may still
 reproduce.
 ͏    Then:
 ͏    Does playing "2_non-existing_PPS_0_referenced.mpeg" reproduce the
 problem?
 ͏    I.e. `ffmpeg -v debug -hide_banner -nostdin -nostats -i "2_non-
 existing_PPS_0_referenced.mpeg" -c copy -f null -`

 ͏    Otherwise, would using "-map a" instead reproduce too?
