You may test now 6ac6e3d to make absolutely sure 
70f7736 / r25159 is the version introducing the 
regression.
Unfortunately, I am currently away from my v4l2 
equipment for several weeks, consider opening a 
report on trac (please do not just link to this 
thread, add all necessary information there).
