[FFmpeg-user] JPEG to MP4 (or WMV)

If I use any kind of codec such as mpeg4 or libx264 then not even ffplay can
play it correctly.  It doesn't preserve the colors.  I've tried using a few
different kinds of pix_fmts with no problem.  I should add that I can put
the jpgs into Windows Movie Maker and the movies come out just fine.  So I
know it is possible to encode them in such a way that they display on most
players correctly, I just don't really know what happens under the covers in
that GUI.  I have tons of movies to make though, so doing them in a batch
job is greatly preferred over doing them manually in a GUI.  Anyone have any
ideas of how I can get them to display properly?
