[FFmpeg-user] Threads in ffmpeg

I have a question.

-          What is the "Threads" parameter in ffmpeg?

-          How does it affect the LoadAverages of Server?

-          What is the reasonable Threads value if i have server 2 CPUs,
each of it has 4 Cores and Hypethreading
