%02d means the images have a 2-digit number in the filename. For a 6TB 
video, larger numbers will be required, for example %06d

Another way to do the same thing is to specify an output frame rate of 
0.25 (4 seconds from one image to the next):

ffmpeg -i input -vf fps=0.25 image%06d.jpg
