[Libav-user] Looking for a tutorial on libavfilter

I got my video player working, how do i apply the 'yadif' filter to the frames?
 
Any tutorial on libavfilter anywhere?
 
Any sample programs I could look at?
 
I got some ideas from ffmpeg.c, but i'm unable to figure out how to set up the filters
