[Libav-user] Uploading large video files to bugtracker/ftp?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I have a .mov file that's
~300MB. I'm trying to create a bug report for this file because there are
issues when converting it to rawvideo using the latest ffmpeg (older ffmpeg
cannot play them at all and vlc still can't). However, I'm unsure how to
supply the video file.

There's an option to attach a file to the bug report, but I imagine 300MB
is too much. On https://ffmpeg.org/bugreports.html it says to use dd to cut
the file before uploading to the ftp server. However, dd completely
destroys the file because it just copies a chunk without paying attention
to internal structures.
