[Libav-user] what is the relationship between fontsize and image resolution in drawtext filter

The text string to be drawn. The text must be a sequence of UTF-8 encoded characters. This parameter is mandatory if no file is specified with the parametertextfile.

In the description of drawtext filtergraph, text must be of UTF-8 encoded characters.

How to calculate the number of UTF-8 encoded characters? Does ffmpeg have some functions to support it?
