you can encode to vp6 using mencoder with the binary vp6vfw.dll codec. you have to apply a patch, and currently there is no bitrate setting. but there are people working on it. some people even make vp6 in flv (flash 8 video) files using mencoder and the binary codec. but this talk is off-topic especially for this list so good luck! -compn
