iam not aware of any problems, noone complained, noone reported a quality
bug against ffmp3, last such bugreport i remember was from gabuchino
which was caused by not enabling CONFIG_MPEGAUDIO_HP

so if you have some files with which artifacts are hearable in ffmp3
which sound better in another mp3 decoder iam definitly interrested
in these files and a clear description of the artifacts
