I mostly wanted to point that quoting laws is a bit more than such an
unsubstantiated mail warrants.

Well, with a DMCA complaint you at least have someone
claiming under penalty of perjury that they own the copyright,
which is far more (though I have some doubts this is taken seriously).
Though a license agreement would never give them copyright even if
it was developed disregarding the terms and assuming
they were enforceable, so I do indeed wonder what this is based on.
