Suggestions for a release criteria:

2. FATE test converage passes for all platforms of interest.
3. All 'important' bugs reported in roundup fixed/closed.
4. No half-implemented functionality that may break existing user apps.
   (e.g. http://roundup.ffmpeg.org/roundup/ffmpeg/issue582)
5. Endurance/memleak testing on film-length files.
