bullshit as long as you are quoting also the line from the OP
without any codec specified and "-f flv" because ffmpeg is chosing
the codec by the extension/format and FLV IS A CODEC

what d you think si trying ffmpeg to tell you here:

what do you thin does this mean after typing "ffmpeg -codecs | grep flv"
EVSD  flv  Flash Video (FLV) / Sorenson Spark / Sorenson H.263

in other words: you should not use ".flv" as extension if you use H264
and take isteand a mpeg-container!
