[FFmpeg-user] Ffmpeg is a Windows codec?

Yes, I am all set. 

>From what I have read installing IV5 gets you the others as well but as I say Windows comes with them all disabled. I don’t remember the last time I used them and I would not have too but I was playing with ”winevdm” which lets you run Windows 16-bit programs on 64-bit Windows. It implements a wrapper from the 16-bit Video For Windows to the 32-bit one.(that’s what the devs told me, so yes, Video For Windows is still around).

So are you all set? I’m just really confused right now, my chain of thought was that if you have VfW, then that includes the system codecs for Intel video IV3x IV4x IV50… and it would just work. I thought IV50 didn’t include the older versions of the codec
