[Libav-user] Need to build automatic audio track "grabber", where to start?

Hello everybody!

I am new to the libav library, and would like to build a tool but I don't
know where to start.

There are a lot of new types and functions I've never seen before in this
library- where should I start reading the documentation?

I need to learn how to extract audio at specified times from VOB files, and
would like a point in the right direction.
